Vehicle yaw rate simulation and control based on single-track model

When designing a vehicle, the most important variable that should be taken into account is vehicle yaw rate, it represents an indication of vehicle’s stability and control. This paper aims to demonstrate how simulate control rate using two methods, first Linear Quadratic method (LQR) other one neural network The classical single-track model prominently used for analysis. One driving conditions performed steering input; input in this work set as step angle lane change manoeuvre. Simulation results showed both methods produced good convergent performance under different conditions.
